Kostos · Paros · Cyclades

The quiet side
of the island

Most of Paros faces the sea. Villa Orian faces the whole island — five hundred metres up the old marble road above Kostos, where the terraces are olive and the only sound after dark is goat bells.

The house

Built from the hill it stands on

A stylish, contemporary yet typically Parian family home of 375m², on a 15,000m² private estate. Architect Kostas Gouzelis — ship builder and poet as well — designed it to sit “hanging like an eagle, on the edge of nature.” The interior mixes high-end modern furniture with rare finds from Athenian antique shops and flea markets. The living room opens onto a panoramic view of the sea, the valley, and Naxos; the kitchen shares that same sea view, with direct access to the garden for fresh herbs and vegetables. The 20×5m infinity pool runs to the edge of the terrace and stops against the view.

  • Private infinity pool
  • Panoramic Aegean views
  • Air conditioning and underfloor heating
  • Fireplace
  • 24/7 service included
  • Outdoor kitchen, bar and Santa-Maria BBQ
  • Free parking
  • Fast Wi-Fi

Practical note: the main villa, pool and outdoor dining areas are all on one level. One bedroom is reached by its own private staircase, so guests with mobility needs should confirm the exact room layout before booking.

The grounds

The old garden

Below the house, a working fruit orchard climbs the terraces — olives, lemons, figs, and vegetables in season. On the ancient maps of Paros this ground is marked simply as “the old garden,” and it has been under cultivation for longer than anyone can date.
